oil painting-like picture
when I was sitting in a cafe I saw a bird trying to eat some leftover food outside the window. And I tried to take a picture of it, the result is amazing. it looked like an oil painting because of the texture of the glass window.
human-wood sculpture
i saw this sculpture when i visited marina bay. This artwork is half human and half wood. They carved some part of the wood into a human, and the human seemed to be laying down on the wood. in other words, the wood illustrating a chair. They still keep the shape of the wood and also the texture. There are many sculpture like this around, but i found that this sculpture is the most unusual and interesting of all.
Raindrop sculpture
this raindrop sculpture is located at pomenade MRT station. This sculpture caught my attention. it is very interesting. There is a raindrop stain right below the sculpture. the raindrop sculpture ia attached with a metal string to hang it on the ceiling. seeing this picture makes me wonder how could the thin metal string handle such a heavy sculpture. in my opinion the sculpture is empty in the inside, so that the sculpture is light even if it seemed heavy.
Piano
during my visit to National University of Singapore for Nirwata Musical Drama, I toured around the University and i saw an unique piano. This piano is for public use and the shape of the piano is very unusual, unlike the common piano, this piano shows the interior parts such as the strings and the hammers. The pedal in this piano is also unusual because it only has two pedals. another things that makes it more interesting is that the music sheet is made from acrylic and using a 3d printing to print out the music notes.

Weekly Exercise 5
This is the fifth assignment from creative thinking module. The topic of this assignment is "how to save a child from drowning in a metal urn". We found a lot of ideas and wrote it on the mahjong paper. The most common one is to push the urn until it fell. Using the idea of the Dead sea is also one of our idea, which we pour a lot amount of salt to make the child float to the surface to keep him/her alive and then find another way to get him/her out of the metal urn.
Weekly Exercise 4
This is the fourth assignment, the topic of this assignment is bee, we were asked to answer why does the bee flies towards the picture of flower and not towards the rose. We wrote a lot of answers, from non-fictive to fictive. The topic of this assignment is interesting, so we had a lot of fun when doing it.
Weekly Exercise 3
This is the third assignment where every group was given a different picture. The picture we got is a Japanese woman with a Child. That's why we decided to set asian beauty as the topic of this assignment. we were asked to use the idea of 10x2. 10x2 means 10 things we see plus 2 questions.
Weekly Exercise 2
Weekly Exercise 1
This is the first assignment that was given to us on the third week of studying creative thinking at NAFA. We were asked to use the idea of see, think, and wonder which means we should write down our opinion about what we see, what we think, and what makes us wonder.
Analogical Thinking IV
This is a picture of a house which the architecture is very interesting. I think this house is so funny, it has a face. Seemed like a face in a cartoon. The exterior design of this house is really unique. I wonder why did the designer decided to design a house with a smiling face.
Analogical Thinking III
Seeing this mask picture reminds me of a villain in a movie, because i think this mask was made based on somebody's face. It seemed like there is a personality in this picture such as slyness that is the result of it's curved mustache and straight beard.
Analogical Thinking II
I found this picture on pinterest. It is a picture of a bird flying out of the water. Seeing this picture reminds me of a ballerina dancing in the water, it's almost the same with the second picture. It seemed like the bird is dancing and playing with water.
Anlogical thinking I
This is the picture of rock with some color effect. At first when I saw this picture, it makes me think and imagine. I imagined a purple cloth flying in the sky because it was blown by the wind. I wonder where did they took this beautiful picture and how they create such a nice color. Is it a natural color of the rock or is it an edited picture.

Ocean's Room
During my visit to Singapore Museum of art for Introduction to Visual Arts, I took a photo of this artwork. It's called the ocean's room. We can see a lot of whale in this picture. Some of them is just shadow that was created by different colour lightning. This art was created by Ashley Yeo and Monica So Young Moon.
Chinese Calligraphy
Chinese Calligraphy is also the most famous art in China. I love to see the way they write using a Chinese brush. I have also tried it, but it's so difficult. The way we hold the brush is different and the stroke is also different. Some Calligraphy is really hard to read, just like the second picture. According to my father, the more difficult the writing, the more artistic it will be. Even though we won't be able to read it, it's still considered as a beautiful art.
Chinese Ink painting
Chinese ink painting is a famous art in China. I have tried to paint some before, but it's not as easy as it seemed. I think we need a special technique to paint with Chinese ink, and we can't use an ordinary paper. The paper must be rice paper because some said if we use an ordinary paper the ink will spread.
Garden Arts
I saw this picture on pinterest and I found it interesting. The cats was made of tree, which is cut until it forms a cat. This was done by a retiree called John Brooker. This art is not only beautiful, we can see a real behavior of the cat in this art.
Fingerprint Building
I saw this picture in my friend's phone, and did some research about this building. It was called Fingerprint building, and the location of this building will be in Thailand. It disappoint me when i saw that this picture is only a digital drawing, it's not real. But, even though this is only a digital drawing, the idea of using a fingerprint as an architecture of a building is unpredictable.
DNA tower
I found this picture in one of my social media this morning. the name of this building is the DNA tower, which is located in Abu Dhabi. The architecture and design of this building is extremely awesome. when i saw this picture, it reminds me of a magnet because of the U shape of this building. I wonder how long did it take to complee this amazing building.
